Exploring, appreciating, and feeling thankful for the whole range of colors in our environment may be a life-changing experience that inspires us to use all of our senses and build closer ties with the beauty of our surroundings. Colors significantly influence our emotions, perceptions, and general welfare. We enable ourselves to be more conscious and in awe of the environment when we take the time to study and enjoy the enormous variety of colors that we see around us.

When we actively look at the colors around us, we become aware of their subtleties and differences. We begin to notice how colors relate to one another, how their appearance changes with different lighting conditions, and how they evoke different emotions and moods. This enables us to see the world from a new perspective by encouraging us to embrace curiosity and cultivate a better appreciation for the beauty all around us.

When we are thankful, we can notice and recognize the impact that colors have on our life, both aesthetically and emotionally. When we exercise gratitude for the vibrant colors of our surroundings, awe and respect are developed. As a result, we become more in tune with our environment and conscious of the depth and complexity of our visual experiences. This love of color may bring joy, inspiration, and a brand-new sense of wonder into our lives and enhance our general well-being.

Close your eyes and imagine that you're holding a glass prism. A beam of light is passing through it and showing you the colors of the rainbow. Pick one of these colors. It could be orange or green or blue, or violet or red, or yellow. Pick one and hold that color in your mind. And now imagine that by magic everything in the world that is that particular color is attracted to you and suddenly surrounding you. You can walk among all these things and look at them. What do you see? As they come into your view, name a few of them. Think about the personality of this color, how it's unique among other colors. Think about the feelings you get from the color. Now, imagine that all of the things disappear and go back into the world, mixing with the other colors around them. Visualize all the many millions of shades and tones of color in your world. Some brilliant, some subtle, but each with its own personality. And finally, express a short statement of gratitude to God that you get to live in such a colorful world.
