We each experience God differently. One way is through what you might call God's fingerprints, and they are everywhere. For this exercise, go outside, or look outside from your window. Find something natural to focus on. It could be a massive mountain range, a humble tree, or a tiny leaf. Describe this natural thing to yourself. Take some moments to describe its form, it's color, the way it moves. How does this thing feel to you? Use a few words to describe these feelings. Now, in your imagination, rewind time and imagine this thing being formed. Now, rewind even further. Go back to before it was formed. Before it ever existed. Before anything like it ever existed. Back when the form, the color, the movement and the feelings of this thing were nowhere in our planet or our universe. And ask yourself, what can you learn about God when you think that God willed this thing to be?
