It is good to practice morning journaling to begin the day with a cool-headed attitude for a variety of reasons. First off, it sets the tone for the entire day. By spending some time introspecting and connecting with oneself, one can cultivate a positive and calm frame of mind that can influence their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors throughout the day. This intentional practice cultivates a sense of inner peace and resilience in people, making them better able to endure difficulties.

Morning journaling also promotes reflection and self-awareness. It provides the opportunity to reflect on one's thoughts, feelings, and ambitions, fostering a deeper understanding of oneself and their goals. People can learn more about their values and objectives for personal improvement through this exercise. This self-awareness is important for finding fulfillment and a feeling of purpose as well as for making thoughtful choices that are in line with one's authentic nature.

Making journaling part of your daily routine is a creative and therapeutic release. People can freely communicate their thoughts, feelings, and objectives on paper thanks to this, which promotes clarity and tranquility. This kind of creative expression encourages creativity, inspiration, and problem-solving abilities, which can help one's mental health and outlook.

[Sade Jones, Wellness Coach] Hi, my name is Sade Jones and I'm here to guide you through your morning writing. So go ahead and grab your journal, your pen, notebook, tablet, whatever it is that you use to get that writing done and let's go. Okay, confession. When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is check social media and I check my emails and I scroll for a bit. And then after that, it's just go, go, go. Yes, I eventually journal and I eventually meditate, but I wanna get into the habit of promoting peace and stability first thing in the morning. I wanna give my first few minutes of being awake to God in the morning. And when I don't, I feel the difference. When I don't give Him those first few minutes, I feel frantic during the day. I'm a little more anxious than I wanna be. I'm not centered, so I wanna get centered and I invite you to do that with me. What were your first thoughts this morning? Where did your attention go? What makes you feel the most present? What are you giving too much power or energy to? We all do it, so I want you to take your time on this one and really think about that thing that you hyperfocus on or something that you want to be perfect and it's not and you just fixate on it. I want you to think about that thing and write it down. Finally, imagine that thing that you just wrote down. Imagine it in the palm of your hand. I want you to imagine it getting smaller and smaller and smaller and a little less significant. How does that make you feel?
