Close your eyes, drop your shoulders and take a moment to settle in. Feel the weight of your feet on the floor, your breath slowing down. Let's imagine you're seated inside a beautiful, ornate theater. It's very comfortable with soft chairs you sink right into. In the seats around you are the people you care about. You scan their faces and connect. You see the person who makes you laugh, the person who takes you on adventures. Next to you is the person who makes you feel safe. Name each of these people and take a moment to draw them close. There is a name being called to the stage. It's your name. The announcer is someone who knows you well. This is a person who celebrates you. Someone who's a big fan. Who do you see up there? You stand and you move toward the stage, climbing the steps and into a warming light. The people you love begin to clap and cheer for you. See them now. The announcer presents you with an award. It's not just any award, though. The award is a color you love. It feels easy to hold as it finds your arms. It is filled with embellishment and spectacular details that seem to reflect you and all of the beauty in you. You're told that the award is for something about yourself, something that is inherently lovable, a quality that you are at your core. Feel your finger trace what it says along the plaque. What does it say? Hold this award close. Record its message in your heart. Now, thank your higher power for what you've received. Stay in this feeling for a few more moments. And as you begin to slowly come back, bring the award along with you. Carry it everywhere you go today.
