Setting goals and turning to a higher power for support are two common practices that individuals use to live their lives with purpose and intention. Setting objectives gives our aspirations and dreams direction, allowing us to go forward with confidence and determination. Setting objectives, though, might oftentimes seem difficult or confusing. At this point, seeking guidance from a higher power is crucial.

By praying, practicing meditation, or engaging in other spiritual pursuits, many find peace and support in turning to a higher force in their quest for guidance. They are aware that there is a force outside of oneself that has the potential to provide inspiration, wisdom, and insight. By pursuing this divine guidance, people may open up a world of limitless opportunities and align their goals with the greater good.

Furthermore, embracing a higher power in goal-setting encourages a sense of confidence and surrender. It acknowledges that there is a larger design at play and that we are not alone. This connection to a higher power fosters a strong sense of trust and belief in the accomplishment of our goals, even in the face of challenges or setbacks. It offers us the assurance that we are guided, supported, and provided with the energy needed to make our aspirations a reality. By combining goal-setting with prayer for direction from a higher power, people can experience tremendous alignment, purpose, and empowerment on their life's path.

Take a moment to breathe and to listen. Listen to the energy in your body and listen to the energy in your spirit. It is always there, moving you forward. Let's use that energy to set some goals. Goals can seem daunting, but goals are nothing more than directions you give to your own energy. Take another deep breath, drawing your attention inward. Open your heart to the higher power in your life. Now out loud, or in your mind, ask for guidance to help you discover your goals. Spend a moment in silence here paying attention to where your mind goes. Now, ask yourself what is one thing I can start doing? What is one thing I can stop doing? What is one thing I can keep doing? Share your three goals with God. Finally, ask God for the continued energy to accomplish each goal.
