- Hi everyone, Sade here. This is your friendly reminder that being content does not mean being stagnant. We are constantly wanting more, we achieve one thing and then we're onto the next, without really being able to enjoy, because we're always wanting the next thing, and I feel like people get strange about contentment. Like oh, no, if I'm content, that means I don't want anymore. I'm here to remind you that's not true. God wants us to enjoy what he's given us while we're waiting for the next. So often we pray for things, we get them, and then we want more. This is your reminder to be content with what you have, to be content with what God has given you, and to rejoice in it while you're going to the next thing. I am at a very different place than I was last year. I prayed to be here, I strived to be here, I sought discipline, and answers, and meditation, and prayer, and I am now, where I want to be in my life, and sometimes I'm not grateful. Sometimes I feel nervous, or as you all know I have anxiety, so sometimes it creeps up that I'm not doing enough, and I have to remember that I am, and I need to learn to be content with what I have while I'm going for more. So this is also a reminder to myself, being content does not mean that you are stagnant. It's okay to want more and enjoy the present. Remember God loves you, be true to yourself, and stay in that divine energy.
