Let's start by thinking about your last few days. Maybe think of some places you've been, some people you've seen. Now, think of a moment where you felt emotionally involved. It could be something you were very interested in or something that made you happy, or even something that hurt. With that emotional moment in mind, ask yourself, "Why might it be that I felt emotional in that moment?" "Why did that moment, more than the many other moments of that day, matter to me?" Why did it matter? Now, fill in the blank in this statement. Blank matters to me. Fill in the blank with your own word and say it to yourself. Blank matters to me. Say it a couple of times to yourself. Now, let's fill in another blank. Because it matters to me, today I will blank. Because it matters to me, today I will blank. Now that you know what you're going to do today, go do it.
