[Thomas McConkie, Mindfulness Teacher] Take this moment to be still. Right at the center of your being, touch into stillness and also feel and appreciate the fullness that's present, the fullness of sensory experience, the fullness of life itself. Relax. Let the body be soft. Let the breath just flow and the ground beneath you support you. Don't just relax the body, but relax the mind. You don't have to manage thoughts coming and going. You can let thoughts flow through the mind as effortlessly as blood flows through the veins. Just connect to a sense of ease. Let your awareness relax like a pupil dilating, like the aperture of a camera opening to let in more light. Let awareness just open. Feel this fullness. Notice in this experience of fullness an awareness as awareness. If you go looking for walls, borders, or boundaries, they're difficult to find. As awareness, we don't run into any boundaries per se. We're just aware and open and full. In your own way in this moment, you're just holding an intention to relax into the immeasurable expanse. You are sitting as the immeasurable expanse, sitting as openness, completely full of all of life, love, and light and completely empty of any fixed nature, always changing, always transforming. In this boundless expanse, I want you to locate the self. It's not only okay to have a self, it's a gift. Let all of life, love, and light pour through the very unique vessel of your own being, your own personhood. Feel the absolute pouring through, animating the relative. Feel that your unique personhood is not separate from the universally divine, the ground of being, an ultimate reality. In this space of awareness, this field of experience, call up what uniquely calls to your heart. You don't know how you know it, but you know that you know it. There's some aspect of this world that is so wide and vast that calls uniquely to you, what you give yourself to, what you choose to follow and take to be real and true and good. When you relax the heart, letting it point to magnetic north like a compass needle, where do you feel pulled? What power draws on you and to where? Just feel it. Don't think it. Just let yourself feel it. In this subtle liminal space, the laws of physics start to change, and love becomes the new gravity. Let this gravity work on you. Let it pull on you. Let it guide you home.
