A big change is coming into your life. But right now, you are here. Make yourself comfortable and focus on your breath. If you're sitting, recognize how the chair feels underneath you. If you're standing, notice how the ground feels beneath your feet. Imagine your breath filling your whole body. Now look inward to your deepest feelings and then to the quiet place beneath those feelings. Acknowledge your sacred spiritual center. It's okay if you still feel some uneasiness right now. Just breathe through it. What is this big change? Tell yourself what it is. Is there something about this change that worries you? Tell yourself what that is. Is there anything about this change that you're looking forward to? Now repeat these affirmations in your mind. My spirit is strong. I have faith that I can handle whatever comes. I have made it through all of my hardest days. I can't control what happens, but I can control how I respond. God is with my spirit. Take a deep breath in. Now let a long breath out. Great job.
