I'm Kelly Boys. Let's do a prayer of gratitude practice together. What would it be like to say a prayer for what you're grateful for? As you consider your life right now, maybe something that's happened recently, someone you've met. Connections, loved ones, pets, anything at all. What comes to you as something that you're grateful for? So notice any images that come to mind, and we'll say of prayer to your higher power, to God. Just putting it out there that you have gratitude for what's present in your life. So take a moment and consider what comes to you. For me, I'm really grateful for the nature around me. It's astounding, and I feel incredibly grateful to God for all of this that's right here, and I am humbled by it. So consider something for yourself that you might be humbled by, and grateful for. And it can be really simple, like a bird chirping, or a tree, and it could be a connection or a friend, or a loved one, whatever it is, just bring it to mind. And let's say a prayer of gratitude. The prayer of gratitude can go like this. Thank you. But you're saying thank you from your heart. It's like a lived prayer. Consider this thing that you're thankful for, and feel into your heart, perhaps there's an inner smile that's here. As you say this prayer of gratitude, can you also consider what it would be like to live your life in this way? Where you're noticing moment to moment, the bird song, the trees, the beautiful connections that are in your life. Even if it's a small moment with a cashier at a store. What would it be like to consider living this prayer? You might have an image of yourself living a prayer of gratitude for the rest of the day, for the rest of the week. Feel free to carry this meditation practice with you into your life. And let it change you. I will too. Thanks for meditating with me.
