Losing someone, whether through death or a relationship that has grown apart, can be a deeply trying and challenging experience. Death is a normal part of life. By honoring and remembering those who have passed away or drifted away, it is possible to keep their memory alive and to feel a connection to them.

We may pay tribute to the person's worth and the impact they had on our lives by remembering and celebrating them. By actively recalling memories and engaging in exercises that summon their presence, we may honor their memory and the good moments we shared together. It's a way to acknowledge their importance and show gratitude for the time you had together.

Paying respects to the departed also provides a chance for healing and closure. It helps us to deal with all of our emotions, including joy from shared experiences and grief over loss. Remembering gives us comfort, fortitude, and peace as we navigate the complexities of loss and discover how to preserve the memories of our loved ones in our hearts.

Have you lost someone to death or simply to a drifting apart. Let's remember them, celebrate what they mean to you and feel connected to them. Imagine this person in your mind. Try to fill in as many details as possible. What clothes are they wearing? What does their hair look like? Can you see the color of their eyes? Now think of a happy memory that you share with this person. Let your mind take you there as if it were happening before your eyes. What emotions does this memory bring? If you could speak with this person one more time what would you tell them? Say this to yourself. Don't hold anything back. Picture them in your mind's eye, listening to you, take all the time you need. When you're finished express gratitude to God for this person and your unbreakable connection to them.
