Hi, I'm Chris Newton, and I'm a certified forest bathing guide. I take people on forest bathing walks. Forest bathing is a practice that's, it started in Japan, and it's a way of just forming a partnership with the land, and just activating your senses, slowing your mind down, being in the presence, mindfulness. It's just a way to connect with nature, and to form that bond with nature. And it's a way of just forming a partnership with the land. Forest bathing is something that we can all do. We can all do it. Everybody can do it. You'll notice a big difference in your life with your health, with your mental state, your friends, your family. You'll notice a big difference how you connect with other humans too. If you're really relaxed in nature, things will come to you. It makes you just understand that we're not just by ourselves in this world. And Mother Earth is part of who we are. It's our first mother. You could just feel there's a higher presence, that there's a presence around us. And it's a very beautiful presence, and it feels very opening and very non-judgmental. It accepts everybody, like there's no judgment.
