Welcome to this meditation where we’ll focus on getting back to ourselves, feeling at ease, and reminding ourselves of the truth that we deserve love. So, let's start by finding a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down. If you're sitting, make sure your head is over your heart and your heart is over your pelvis. And if you're lying down, tuck your chin in to elongate your neck.
Before we start, take a moment to acknowledge your higher power, whatever that may be for you. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, connect with your higher power. Allow yourself to be guided by your spiritual self and let go of any worries or doubts.
Place your left hand on your heart and your right hand on your low belly, and gently close your eyes. Take a deep breath in, and exhale slowly. Allow yourself to settle in, and let go of any tension or worry.
Now, let's take this time to start over, to remind ourselves that we are worthy of love, and that we are love itself. Take another deep breath in, and as you exhale, release any negative thoughts or emotions that are coming up.
As you continue to breathe, start to bring your attention to your body, starting from your feet and moving up to the crown of your head. Notice any tightness or tension in any areas of your body, and try to soften and relax those areas with each breath.
Remember to take deep, conscious breaths, as if you are breathing in the love and guidance from your higher power, and breathing out any doubts or negative thoughts. Use your breath as a tool to stay present, and to anchor your mind on the mantras "I am loved by my higher power" and "I am guided by my spiritual self." Repeat this mantra a few times, and let it sink in, as a reminder that you are loved, and that you are guided by a higher power.
Take another deep breath, and as you exhale, release any doubts or negative thoughts that may be holding you back. Allow yourself to feel the love and guidance that surrounds you, and that is within you.
When you are ready, clasp your hands together and place them over your heart. Take a moment to connect with your higher power and your spiritual self, and when you're ready, start to lift the corners of your mouth and smile. Allow your smile to grow, and take another deep breath in, and exhale slowly.
Concentrate on this feeling of gladness and whisper quietly, "I am loved and guided by my higher power." Repeat this affirmation to yourself, and know that it is true. Whisper to yourself, "I am love," and feel the truth of these words.
Allow your head and hands to gently fold in toward your heart as you bow. Take one more deep breath in, taking in the love and guidance from your higher power and spiritual self, and exhale, letting love flow out of you.
Take a moment to acknowledge how you're feeling and remember that you are loved and guided by something bigger than yourself.
