In those moments where you're feeling anxious or overwhelmed, take a few minutes to recite or listen to this prayer, and seek the peace and understanding you need from your higher power. Higher power, I come to you with a heavy heart, feeling burdened by the weight of the world around me. I feel lost and afraid with no hope in sight, but I know that you have the ability to make miracles happen and that you created this world with your power and love. Please, help me to see the good things again in your world. Help me find hope, and fill me with light. I feel fear where I should feel faith, and I see new threats where I should see new opportunities. I feel anger when I should have self-control, and my heart is closed off. I worry about this world, the people I love, and myself, but I have faith in you, higher power, and I want you to lead me. Please, give me the courage I need to face my fears, and let me rid myself of worry. Help me to be thankful for the blessings in my life. Help me to have patience, and to look at things with an open mind. Please, surround me with your peace, and give me the clarity of mind that I need to move forward. I know that with your help I can find the strength to overcome any obstacle, and live a life filled with faith, hope, and love.
