When we witness greatness, beauty, or noble qualities in others, we feel admiration. It is a deeper appreciation that goes beyond recognition. When we admire someone, it touches the core of our being, and we are inspired to become better versions of ourselves. We acknowledge their exceptional qualities and at the same time, we open up ourselves to new possibilities, lighting our way to recognizing our own potential.

In this exercise, we’ll try to shift this admiration we feel toward others inward into ourselves. Take a moment to realize that the qualities you admire in others also resonate with you for a reason. All these qualities are already within you, waiting to be acknowledged and celebrated.

Don’t let society chain you from its self-criticism, judgment, and comparison. Break free from these limiting beliefs and start to embrace and recognize your own admirable qualities. Remember, admiration starts from within. Practice this exercise every day and always believe that you are worthy of admiration. It’s time to celebrate your own greatness.

Close your eyes and picture the face of someone you admire. Is it a friend, a colleague, a celebrity, a family member? Now think of something you admire most about them and say that thing to yourself. Let's picture another person that you admire. What quality do they possess that you admire? Say it to yourself. And finally, picture a third person you think very highly of. Why do they impress you? Now, if you can remember the quality you chose for each person, say all three qualities to yourself. These are attributes you value in others and in yourself. You are already a person worthy of admiration.
