Hi, Sade here. I wanna talk to you about God the creator. I grew up thinking God was this rich powerful being in the sky who would punish you if you made a wrong move. I struggled with what and who I imagined God to be. I was completely disconnected from myself. I didn't truly understand what God meant to me until I started to define my own relationship with God. I started to trust my higher self and my intuition. I started to explore how different spaces impacted my relationship with God. I started to find God on my walks, through art, music, dance, connecting to silence, and in nature. It always blows my mind how the spirit will find ways to talk to you through those entities like music, art, and nature. I have anxiety and it's not going to go away. I try to find ways to manage my anxiety and even let it guide me instead of panicking and beating myself up. I start to pray and ask God to guide me through it or I seek to find what my anxiety is trying to tell me. For example, if I feel tense about something, I use my anxiety as a tool to inform me that something needs to change. If I observe it's something that I can control or not. If it's in my control, such as my behavior, cleaning something up, answering an email or a text, I get it done with ease and self love. I remind myself that I am human, I am loved, and I will get done what needs to get done. Whoo. Now, if I'm having anxiety about things that are out of my control, pretty much anything that has to do with other people because we are not in control of anyone but ourselves, it's time to reset, time to take a beat, and get back to me. Getting back to me makes me feel more connected to the higher power. One of the easiest ways for me to reset is getting out in nature. I experience the creator when I'm out in nature. The trees, flowers, lakes, the butterflies, all of it. We are connected to nature. 70% of the world is water and we are 70% water. We are made up of the same atoms and minerals as the Earth. Oh gosh. That is always a reminder to me of how truly connected we all are. In nature, we can experience God by observing the spirits creativity, power, love, beauty, and the higher power's attention to detail. I feel close to God and nature because I see the beauty, I see the power, the magnificent creativity of all the creations surrounding me and I know who to think for it. The creator of the universe and all the marvelous nature surrounding me is the same God who loves and cares for us so, so deeply. Hmm. I notice God's power in the sun. The sun reminds me that God is always here and will be here even when my anxiety is on 10. Woo. You see the sun rises and sets no matter what we're going through. The sun doesn't miss a day and neither does God. Remember you are loved, you are adored, and you are wonderful just the way you are. Thank you so much for sharing your time and energy with me. Have a beautiful day.
