Sometimes we try to go to bed and we feel restless, uncomfortable, or maybe even in pain. Here’s a quick prayer you can listen to or offer to your Higher Power when you’re having problems sleeping because of discomfort. Higher Power, As I lay here trying to fall asleep, I feel a lot of pain and discomfort. My body hurts, and I can't find a way to make it feel better. I need your help. Please help me rest and relax, even though my body is uncomfortable and keeping me awake. Provide me with healing power that will take away my pain and bring me the comfort I so desperately seek. Give me the strength to get through this challenge and come out feeling more alive and energized. I pray to have a clear mind so that I can figure out what needs to be done to feel better. Help me determine if I need medical help or need to change my way of life to improve the quality of my sleep. Please help calm my restless body and quiet my noisy mind so that I can fall into a deep slumber and receive the strength and energy I lack. I know through your power and grace that all things are possible and ask that you help me in this moment when I have nowhere else to turn for comfort. Thank you, God, for your love and support that never changes. I'm very thankful that you're in my life and that you bring me peace when I'm hurting or feeling bad. Amen.
