Spend a moment observing your surroundings. Take note of nature's more delicate features, such as the brightly colored flowers, the gently moving trees, or the quiet chirping of the birds. Note the special traits of the people you are surrounded by, their love and support, and the relationships they develop in your life. Recognize the little pleasures in life, like a hot cup of tea, a breathtaking sunset, or a thought-provoking discussion.

By observing our surroundings, we increase our awareness of the richness of life and strengthen our sense of the present. It makes it possible for us to fully appreciate our surroundings and embrace ordinary things. Gratitude makes us reconsider what we have instead of what we don't or what isn't there. It encourages us to notice the connections, treasure the details, and find meaning in insignificant things in life.

So let's embrace the habit of appreciation and develop an attitude of gratitude. Every day, set aside some time to consciously acknowledge and express your gratitude for the depth, love, and beauty in your life. Savour life's richness and revel in the present moment. As we learn to open our hearts to the joys all around us, we come to understand that life itself is a valuable gift worthy of our sincerest gratitude and appreciation.

- [Rehl Clarke, Yoga Instructor] - Hi, guys, we're gonna take the next couple of minutes to open up our heart and our chest to be more appreciative of things around us that connect us to our higher power. So let's get into it. I want you to come in a comfortable seated position. I'm not on my yoga mat today, but if you are, that is perfect, a chair, a couch, whatever it may be. We're gonna place our hands down onto our knees. We're gonna inhale, rolling our shoulders up and back, finding stillness here. We're gonna inhale, arms come all the way up to the sky, and exhale, bring your hands heart to center. We're gonna take our fingers, placing them behind our back, clasping them together, shooting our elbows, straightening out our elbows, and lifting our chin up towards the sky. Opening our chest and our heart here, receiving all the happiness and appreciation that we can. Taking our gaze down, tucking our chin underneath us. We're gonna inhale, gazing up. Exhale, tucking our chin one more time. And inhale, taking our gaze up. Slowly releasing our hands, we're gonna shake out our arms and our fingers. We're gonna take our left hand, crossing it all the way over our body, gazing to our left. Deep inhales and exhales here. Slowly releasing that, again, shaking out our fingers and our arms. Taking our right arm, crossing it over our body, gazing to the right. Slowly releasing that, and one more time, shaking everything out. We're gonna inhale, our arms all the way up to the sky. Exhale, drawing our elbows close to our side. Inhale, arms come up. And exhale, drawing our elbows close to our sides. Really opening up our chest here. Inhale, arms come up. And exhale, letting our elbows fall. One last time, inhale, arms come up. And exhale, falling down. Placing our hands on either side of us, we're gonna take the inside of our hands, placing our fingertips behind us. Opening our chest here, drawing our elbows away from us. And collapsing in. Bringing our belly button to our spine, we're gonna inhale. Arching our back, gazing our chest out, and bringing everything in. Modified cat cow here. We're gonna inhale, gazing our chest up to the sky. And exhale, collapsing everything in. Inhale, arms come all the way up one last time. Exhale, placing our hands on top of our shoulders. We're gonna do a couple more shoulder circles here, moving forward and back, drawing big circles with our elbows, and winding that down to small circles. And switching ways, small circles moving into big circles. Finding stillness, we'll release that. Placing our hands facing up onto our knees. Taking two deep breaths here. Inhaling through our nose, and exhaling through our mouth. One more time. Inhaling all that appreciation, acceptance, and love. Bring your hands heart to center. Thank you so much for taking these quick couple of minutes to recenter ourself and feel appreciation for everything and all those around us. Namaste.
