Stretching our neck is a simple and effective way to ease stress and promote relaxation in the upper body. The neck is a common area where tension is held, especially for persons who spend a lot of time at a desk or engage in activities that strain their neck muscles. By including neck stretches in our daily routine, we may be able to reduce discomfort, relieve stiffness, and enhance our general wellness.

In addition to easing physical stress, stretching the neck also encourages mental calm. We frequently feel at peace and re-energized when we remove the tension and stiffness in our neck muscles. It's critical to keep in mind to do these stretches mindfully, keeping an eye out for any feelings or restrictions in the neck region. Before doing these stretches, it is advised to speak with a healthcare provider if you have any underlying neck or spinal issues.

- [Sade Jones, Wellness Coach] - Hey, what's up? We're gonna do a one minute stretch just releasing tension all in the neck. Before we get started though, can you please do me a favor and tap the like button? I know you like these one minute stretches and I'm sure you wanna see more, right? Let's get into it. Shoulders down. Inhale. Exhale. Ha. Go ahead and drop that chin to the chest. Go ahead and rotate to the right ear towards the shoulder and then drop the head all the way back. Finding your flow of breath. Ear to shoulder. Yes. Keep moving. Chin to chest. Awesome. Now when you get to that other shoulder, switch back. Yes. Nice rotation here. Releasing, honoring the body. Bring that head back to center. Go ahead and, excuse me. Turn right, turn left. Turn right, turn left. Keep moving like that. Boom. Face center again. Drop that chin down to the chest. Head all the way back, releasing. Still finding your flow of breath here. Feeling good. Final neck circle each way. Nice, come back to center. Big inhale. Exhale. Remember to stay in your divine energy and remember God loves you.
