Finding inner calm and establishing a spiritual connection revolves around the discipline of quieting the mind, going inward, and nurturing a deep spiritual connection. In a world filled with continual noise and distractions, creating periods of solitude to reconnect with our inner selves and develop our link with the divine becomes critical.

We can achieve a state of calm in which we can tune out the external noise and tune into our inner selves by making time for reflection, meditation, or prayer. This allows us to grow in self-awareness, clarity, and calm. While we are in this state of peace, we become more open to feeling God's presence and connecting with the holy energy that surrounds us.

Nurturing a connection with God includes not only seeking periods of silence but also engaging in behaviors that align with our spiritual views and values. It can be through prayer, meditation, scripture study, acts of service, or any other form of spiritual practice that resonates with our spiritual journey. This intentional nurturing of connection helps us to tap into a source of guidance, knowledge, and comfort, giving us a feeling of purpose and direction in life. Finally, finding silence within ourselves and developing a connection with God can bring us a great sense of inner peace, fulfillment, and spiritual progress.

- [Rehl Clarke, Yoga Instructor] - Hi, guys. We are gonna take the next couple of minutes through this quick yoga flow to find stillness with ourself and with God. So let's get into it. We're gonna start by coming into a lying place, whether it's on your mat or on the ground. Coming down and relaxing our whole body, finding this stillness here. Stillness to connect with ourself and to connect with God. Just taking a couple minutes out of our day to relax our mind and our body. Inhale through our nose, exhale through our mouth. We're gonna inhale, bringing both of our knees close to our chest, squeezing our elbows, and giving ourself a hug, bringing our nose to our knees and rocking back and forth. Extending both feet down onto the ground, we're gonna take our left foot, crossing it over our right knee, grabbing either the back of our thigh or our shin, and drawing that close to our chest. Slow and subtle movements like this help us just find that stillness and calmness that we all crave throughout a busy day. Slowly releasing our feet back down, taking our right foot, crossing it over our left knee, grabbing the back of our thigh or our shin, and again, drawing that close to our to our chest. Placing both feet back down onto the ground, we're gonna let our feet fall to the left and to the right. Finding stillness, we're going to extend our legs out. Arms are out, coming into a short savasana. Inhaling through our nose, exhaling through our nose. Beginning to wiggle our fingers and wiggle our toes. Falling to our right or left side, using our arm as a pillow. And when you're ready, coming to a seated position. Placing our hands down onto our knees for grounding, we're gonna inhale through our nose and exhale through our mouth. One more time. Inhale through our nose. Exhale everything out. Thank you so much for practicing with me today and finding this peaceful stillness. Namaste.
