Pratyahara is the Fifth Limb of the 8-fold Path of Yoga, which means “stillness”. This practice can help you find calmness and connect to your higher power, as it encourages learners to have a sense of control and build a deeper connection with their inner selves. It is sometimes also referred to as “withdrawal of the senses”, where one disconnects from external distractions and focuses on what’s happening within you. This is where we can connect with our inner selves, by shifting our focus from external to internal.

It is hard to find calmness and stillness as we lead busy lives. But by practicing this flow, we can find calmness in the midst of chaos. It helps us create moments of quietness and self-reflection. This practice is also in tune with our spiritual journey, as we mindfully connect to our higher self and higher power. By being still and calm, we can see go through life’s challenges with more clarity.
