Hi, I'm Teri. I'm so glad you're here. Let's get started. It's possible to connect to the divine and find peace every day. Simple daily tasks offer the perfect time to create spiritual practices, through finding quiet space in the mind and focusing on gratitude. Let's watch the sunset and feel close to God. Find a comfortable place to sit, whether that's on the ground or in a chair. Outside in nature is really nice, but inside at a window also works. Make sure you have a view of the western sky. First, take a moment to relax your body. Settle here by releasing your shoulders down away from your ears, soften your jaw and throat, relax your brow and eyes. Let your hips settle into the ground, or your chair. Go soft through your belly. Find somewhere comfortable to rest your hands. Now let's breathe on purpose to bring your attention to right now, leaving the stress of the day behind. Lips gently closed, jaw relaxed, start to breathe slowly, in and out of your nose. Establish a nice, easy rhythm of inhale and exhale. Breathing calmly for the next few minutes, allow your gaze to move over the sky. Explore your breath and observe the sky. When your thoughts wander, bring your attention back. Back to your breath and the sky. What do you see? The clouds, the colors, the sun, the birds, the trees, or grass, or water, or buildings. What do you see as you breathe? Look around again. Take your time to look from one thing to another and be grateful for each one. Grateful for the sky, the clouds, the colors the sun, the birds, the place you are right now. Feel how amazing it is to be connected to the divine rhythm of the earth. The sunset, which slips into night, which moves into sunrise. The hot sun, the cool moon, the movement of the seasons and the cycle of life. You belong to the earth, body, mind, and soul. The earth belongs to you, sun, moon, and stars. God is here with you and in everything around you. Sit comfortably, breathe, and watch the sunset. Thank you for spending this spiritual moment with Skylight. Enjoy your evening.
