For one to adopt a positive and confident outlook on life, one must first establish self-esteem. A practical and accessible strategy for doing this is meditation. Meditation assists us in making a connection to our inner selves by promoting self-awareness and self-acceptance, both of which are crucial for developing a strong feeling of self-esteem.

By meditating, we may teach our minds to slow down and stop racing with self-doubt and other negative thoughts. Instead, we develop inner peace by focusing on the present moment. Regular meditation practice helps us understand our thoughts and emotions better, which in turn fosters more self-awareness and self-compassion.

By making meditation a regular habit, we may gradually let go of self-judgment and criticism in favor of developing a loving and supportive connection with ourselves. As our self-esteem increases, we become more resistant to outside pressures and are better prepared to meet life's problems head-on with assurance and self-belief. Give meditation a try if you want to improve your self-esteem since it can end up being the transforming tool you've been seeking for.

- [Amelia Thorn] - Today we're going to move through a meditation that I like to call the golden web. And as we move through seasons of time or seasons of our lives, it's nice to do a little bit of a spiritual deep dive and go through some spiritual spring cleaning. So this is all about energy. Usually we keep our energy right here within us, but during this golden web exercise, we're going to move our energy a little bit farther out. So let's first start by opening up that energy. So bring your hands right to your chest, and let's take a deep inhale. Exhale back out. Good, now let's open up that energy. Take your arms and gaze up overhead, inhaling, and start to open that energy all the way up. Good, take one arm in front and now one arm behind, and open that energy back up this way, breathing all the while. Good, one more time, right up through the middle. Exhale down the sides. Good, now that your energy has opened just a little bit, and you might take a soft gaze or take your eyes closed, but we're going to imagine a golden web all the way around us. And you might start to take your fingers and rub your fingers along that golden web, feeling the different pieces of this web all around you. It's almost like a force field of a web, this whole energy around you. Now, as you move your fingers along this golden web, you might start to find little pieces that need a little bit of mending. So you might just take your fingers and start to create a little bit of a stronger web, weaving the pieces back together until it feels whole again. And then rub your hand along that web. Feel its strength again, feeling all around this golden web. And you might take your focus back to your breath as you build your web, physically mending your energy all around you. Now, you might bring your hands right around the web around your heart, and spend a little extra time here, whether you think that it needs it or not, building just a little bit of a stronger energy right around your heart. Feeling that web, dusting off some of the cobwebs, feeling your energy expand and strengthen around you. You can spend as long as you would like here, but when you're ready, let's close back up that energy. Bringing your arms to the outsides, reach all the way up, pulling that energy back in. Reaching in front and behind you, pulling that energy back up and back down. Good, onto the other side. One last time, breathing in. Exhale back out.
