Prayer on Loneliness

A prayer for loneliness. Spirit, in this moment of loneliness, I find myself needing solace. Please help me to know I'm not alone and to remember my deep belonging here and the common humanity that I share with so many people on this planet. May I feel and know connection in my mind, in my body, in my spirit. It comforts me to know the spiritual belonging that doesn't depend on specific people, but rather is rooted in the spiritual journey of the heart. I also take refuge in knowing there are many others on their own journey, working with feelings of loneliness, whether they are surrounded by people or not and in this, I know I am not alone. May I connect in this moment with feelings of comfort, of holding, of solace. I'm allowing my heart to be open and available to connect from a genuine place with those I encounter in my daily life. I affirm that I am deeply interconnected with all of life and I trust that this loneliness will pass. Thank you spirit for helping me to hold my loneliness and love and care and to feel connection, and to feel belonging.
